Diamond Cruise & Travel of Bordentown Township NJ is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Sailing into the next chapter of the leisure travel market, business is on the upswing as pent-up demand has sparked renewed interest in both vacation and business travel, according to co-owner and accredited cruise counselor Eileen Entin, a veteran of more than 150 cruises with co-owner and husband, Joel Entin.

Although Diamond Cruise & Travel began operations in 1996, the Entins had traveled extensively prior to forming the business. “We had been to South America, Africa, Iceland, Europe, Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, the Caribbean, and all over America so friends were always asking our advice on where to go and how to save money. So we decided to start a travel agency,” says Eileen. Turning their first hand travel knowledge into a business, they opened their first office in East Windsor, NJ and now operate in Trenton, NJ, and remotely from all over the world.
A lot has changed in the travel industry in 30 years. “We’re all flooded with emails and deals and discounts and fake reviews so choosing the right trip can be overwhelming,” says Entin. “If you can only get away once a year, there’s no margin for error.”
Diamond Cruise & Travel’s advisors work with clients to find amazing vacation experiences that fit within travel budgets and eliminate the hassle factor. “One of the most rewarding aspects of being a travel advisor is when clients return from a trip and tell us about how much they enjoyed celebrating milestones with their families,” she says.
